In this article, we will share only 3 tips to help you design a just 15-minute walking workout to help you slim down, get toned, and fit.
Lace-up your walking shoes; your walking routine is about to get a significant upgrade that’ll deliver solid results. With this walking trick, you can torch much more calories and shed fat.
Regular walking is an excellent calorie-burning activity and the simplest way to manage weight. Fitness Buffhq says the more walking you do and the faster you walk, the more significant number of calories you’ll burn. Just ensure not to overdo it! After all, no one wants to deal with feeling burned out from pushing too hard, having sore muscles, or getting injured. After you lose weight, remaining active even becomes more critical to not regaining weight.
We checked with Fitness Buffhq, a personal trainer at Just Fitness Hub, who explained super-productive walking workout techniques that’ll help you slim down and get toned. The best thing about this walking routine is that it just takes only fifteen minutes of your time, making it an easy and simple addition to every schedule.
This super productive fifteen-minute walking workout will help you slim down, get toned, and fit!
According to Fitness Buffhq, walking is an excellent low-impact exercise that provides many options for anyone looking to “step up” their physical activities.
Now, it’s time to show you how? For the first 5 minutes, do it at your regular walking pace, then jack up the speed every minute until you reach your max. Aim to maintain the quickest pace you can walk for a minimum of 5 minutes, then start to reduce your speed to make a total of fifteen minutes for this ultimate workout.
Incorporate some resistance into your walking routine to make sure your body stays challenged.
Once you get used to this kind of walking routine, Fitness Buffhq suggests adding some resistance to boost things up. You can do so by finding a walking route with several hills or including light weights for your arms to ensure your body stays challenged.
The most important tip is not to let your body get comfortable with a walking workout. Keep changing it, so your body doesn’t adapt to it. This trick alone will offer you the optimum benefits with just fifteen minutes per workout.
How often should you do this 15-minute walking workout to see the results
Fitness Buffhq tells us, “The latest guidelines from the US Department of Health and Human Services (according to the CDC & The American Heart Association) suggest at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity. This translates into thirty minutes, five days per week.” He suggests breaking this into a 15-minute routine twice per day, five days per week, to achieve the best results. This will help you slim down, get toned & fit, and improve your cardiovascular health as well.
And last but not least important thing is to warm up by doing dynamic stretches for three minutes before this 15-minute walking workout. This you can do by marching in place, doing some foot circles, moving your arms around in circles, and performing butt kicks.
